Terms and Conditions

These Specific Promotional Terms and Conditions apply to the Goal Rush promotion and should be read together with SportPesa's General Promotional Terms and Conditions. Where there is any conflict, these Goal Rush Terms and Conditions shall prevail.

ELIGIBILITY

1. To participate in Goal Rush, you must:

  • hold a successfully registered SportPesa account;
  • have placed sports or casino bet with SportPesa within the last seven (7) days and
  • be otherwise eligible to participate in SportPesa promotions in accordance with the General Promotional Terms and Conditions.

2. Each customer may submit only one Goal Rush entry per day.

3. There is no requirement to share your prediction on social media in order to enter Goal Rush or to claim a prize.

4. We may set a minimum account balance requirement from time to time.  If a minimum account balance requirement is set, customers with an account balance below this threshold will not be eligible for entry in the promotion.

5. At our discretion and from time to time, we may withhold the GoalRush promotion from customers in certain countries.

DEFINITIONS

  1. “Minute” means a period equal to sixty (60) seconds. For the avoidance of doubt, the first minute of a match shall be the first sixty (60) seconds of that match as indicated by the match officials.
  2. “promotion” means the Goal Rush promotion offered by the Company.

HOW TO PLAY

  1. For each of the three matches selected by SportPesa for that day's Goal Rush, select the team you believe will score the first goal and the specific minute in which you believe that goal will be scored.
  2. Entries can be placed via the SportPesa website, or via the dedicated Android and iOS applications.
  3. Once submitted, an entry cannot be edited or amended.
  4. The matches offered in each round of Goal Rush are selected solely by SportPesa.

HOW POINTS ARE CALCULATED

Points determine how close your prediction was to the actual result, and are used to decide the Daily Prize and Runner-Up Prize winners. The fewer points you have, the closer your prediction was to correct.

  1. If you correctly predict the team that scores first, your points for that match are calculated as the difference between your predicted minute and the actual minute the goal was scored, expressed as a positive number (never negative).
  2. Where a prediction or a goal falls within stoppage/additional time, SportPesa's standard settlement rules will determine how the time difference is calculated for that match.
  3. If you predict the wrong team to score first, you will be awarded 1,000 points for that match.
  4. If a match ends in a scoreless (0–0) draw, all customers are awarded 90 points for that match.

MATCH RESULTS & SCORELESS DRAWS

  1. Official match results will be used to determine Goal Rush outcomes.
  2. Where the first goal of a match is an own goal, the team in whose favour the goal is credited will be deemed to have scored first.
  3. If one of the three matches ends in a scoreless (0–0) draw, the Grand Prize cannot be won that day. The Daily Prize and Runner-Up Prizes will still be awarded, based on points across all three matches (including the 90 points awarded for the drawn match).
  4. If two or more of the three matches end in a scoreless (0–0) draw, the entire Goal Rush round for that day will be void. No prizes of any kind will be awarded.

POSTPONED, CANCELLED OR INTERRUPTED MATCHES

  1. If a match is cancelled outright, that match is voided immediately.
  2. If a match is postponed, interrupted or suspended, a 24-hour grace period applies from the scheduled start time. If the match is completed within that 24-hour window, it will be settled as normal. If it is not completed within that window, the match will be voided.
  3. If exactly one match is voided under this section, the Grand Prize will not be awarded that day. The Daily Prize and Runner-Up Prizes will still be awarded, based on points from the two remaining matches, and will be paid as cash prizes.
  4. If two or more matches are voided under this section, the entire Goal Rush round for that day will be void. No prizes of any kind will be awarded.
  5. SportPesa's decision on the application of this section shall be final and binding.

PAYMENT OF PRIZES

  1. Winners will be verified in accordance with SportPesa's standard account verification and Customer Due Diligence (CDD) processes, as set out in SportPesa's General Terms and Conditions.
  2. SportPesa reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to require the Grand Prize winner to take part in a prize award ceremony.
  3. SportPesa reserves the right to withhold 90% of any prize until any applicable prize award ceremony has taken place and/or payment verification is complete.
  4. All Goal Rush prizes are cash prizes, credited to the customer's SportPesa account wallet – not bonus credit.
  5. Once the result of the final relevant match is known, prizes will be credited to winners' wallets within seventy-two (72) hours, subject to the withholding provision above.
  6. SportPesa will make every reasonable effort to contact prize winners. If a winner does not respond to communications or calls, their prize will be forfeited and awarded instead to the next eligible participant.
  7. Prizes must be claimed within seven (7) days, after which SportPesa may deem the prize forfeited, unless this period is extended at SportPesa's sole discretion.
  8. SportPesa reserves the right to use the name, video, audio or image of any winner for publicity and marketing purposes, subject to obtaining prior written consent in accordance with the General Promotional Terms and Conditions.

GENERAL

  1. The Goal Rush feature is offered at SportPesa's discretion, and SportPesa makes no guarantee as to its availability. SportPesa will not be responsible if Goal Rush is unavailable for technical reasons.
  2. SportPesa reserves the right to accept or decline any Goal Rush entry.
  3. SportPesa reserves the right to amend, suspend or remove the Goal Rush promotion (or any part of it) at any time, for any event, match or customer.

1. These General Promotional Terms and Conditions apply to all promotional offers available through our Sites. Each promotional offer shall have its own Specific Promotional Terms and Conditions, which when taken together with these General Promotional Terms and Conditions shall fully govern the promotion in question. In the event of any conflict or inconsistency between these General Promotional Terms and Conditions, and the applicable Specific Promotional Terms and Conditions, the Specific Promotional Terms and Conditions shall prevail and be overriding.

2. To be eligible to participate in any Promotion, You must:

  • a. be eighteen (18) years of age or older, or the legal age of majority in your home country, state or province;

10. We may withdraw, suspend or amend Promotions at any time but shall however honour the terms of Promotions that have already been entered into by you before this change until completion of that particular promotional instance.

11. Promotions are provided for game enjoyment and to allow customers to experience or evaluate different products, games and/or features. We strictly prohibit the use of techniques which lead to: fraud; collusion; breach of any of our terms and conditions such as the opening of the multiple proxy accounts; manipulation of weakness with the intention of gaining unfair advantage over us or other customers.
